Pad thai
The classic Pad thai.
Serves 2
Ingredients
Rice Noodles
1½ tbsp tamarind puree (or lime juice and brown sugar)
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Fish Sauce
1½ tbsp Oyster Sauce
Onion
Garlic
~120g Prawns
2 Eggs
Beansprouts
Peanuts
Extras:
Pak Choi
Tofu
Method
Put the noodles in a bowl of boiling water for 5 mins
Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl
Fry the garlic and onions
Push them to one side of the pan and scramble the eggs
Add beansprouts, noodles, prawns and sauce
Add peanuts
